Meditate On A Rock

I think one of my favorite parts of traveling around the world is being able to bring home treasures to share with you. I feel like a secret messenger, bringing whispers of far-away lands that you may never have the opportunity to see.

I found this charming hand painted rock in a little shop in the Himalayas in India.

I keep it on the corner of my desk. It reminds me to take a break and stop and breathe for a moment.

I don’t think the artisan who painted the lotus on a river rock would even think that someone so far away in the United States would find this symbol so peaceful.

The gifts of artisans around the world are waiting for you to discover them, and I can't wait to show them to you.
